Zlubb is built by a small team that cares about doing right by the people who use it. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and why. No tricks, no fine print you need a lawyer to decode.
Who we are
Zlubb is an iOS app that lets you design and send HTML email templates from your iPhone. When we say "we," "us," or "Zlubb," we mean the company that makes the app. When we say "you," we mean anyone who uses it.
What we collect
We try to collect as little as we can to make the app work well.
- Account email — so you can sign in and we can reach you about your account. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive whatever address Apple shares (including a private relay address, if you choose one).
- Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated signals like which blocks get used or where people get stuck, so we can improve the editor.
- Device info — your iOS version and device model, used for compatibility and crash diagnostics.
We do not read the content of the emails you design. Your templates are yours.
How we use your data
To deliver the service, keep it running reliably, fix bugs, and understand which features are worth building next. That's the whole list.
We never sell your data to third parties. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
Third-party services
A few trusted services help us run Zlubb. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Mailchimp API & Klaviyo API — used only when you choose to connect an account and send a template. We pass your email HTML to your own ESP account on your instruction.
- Apple Sign In — handles authentication so we never see your password.
- Mixpanel — processes the anonymous usage analytics described above.
Storage and security
Your templates sync through encrypted connections and are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Delete your account and everything tied to it.
- Export your templates as portable HTML files.
Just email us and we'll take care of it, usually within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Zlubb is intended for people aged 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we'll remove it.
Cookies & tracking
Zlubb is a native iOS app — there's no web cookie banner because there are no cookies. The only tracking is the anonymous, aggregated analytics described above, and you can opt out in Settings.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we'll let you know in the app before it takes effect. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
